Director: Stephen Chatterton

The company (I / me) hires various products such as Jukebox, or Jukebox with accessories (such as an extra speaker / lights) to clients (you) for an agreed period at an agreed price. I will deliver the equipment to the place of the hire, and I collect it at the end of the hire period or as arranged. This is the total scope of the service.

Equipment is provided in good faith, and devices hired from Jukebox-Hire (me) will be setup, checked, cleaned and tested properly upon delivery, before being handed over to the client for the agreed hire period.

The equipment is maintained between hires and serviced regularly. The technology is designed for commercial use; however, like any electronic device the equipment cannot be guaranteed to be 100% fail-safe and may yield to a fault (or fault condition) outside of my control during the hire period. The risk of a fault condition occurring is extremely low (2 breakdowns in the past seven years 2013 to 2019).

Therefore, in the unlikely event of a failure of operation of any equipment hired from Jukebox-hire, howsoever caused, my responsibility shall be limited to a maximum of the agreed cost of the hire.

Precautions offered by me:

As a precaution, Jukebox Hire offers a Bose S1 Pro ® speaker along with the Jukebox, into which one may play music from one’s own device, separately from the Jukebox. No additional cost is involved.

Power Requirements:

It is the hirer’s responsibility to provide an electrical power supply for all use situations, including for it’s use in a marquee. A standard UK 230v / 13 amp RCD protected power socket needs to be presented to within about a meter of the Jukebox location. Electrical power is required during the set-up process and during the collection process. Suitable generators may be used for marquee based situations, but again, electricity is required for the set up and for collection.

Breakages, Loss or Damage:

Clients must respect the equipment and are responsible for all items hired during the hire period, and will be charged for any losses, breakages or damages to any equipment caused during the hire period.

Deposit, Final Payment and Cancellation Terms:

Unless otherwise stated, all bookings are subject to the 30% deposit payment and are therefore only fully confirmed once the deposit payment has been received. The 70% final balance is due for payment 14 days before the hire date. I offer a good email and postal paperwork system to reassure clients and for booking confirmations. In the event of a cancellation by the client, a deposit refund date and terms are mentioned if applicable in each quotation and confirmation letter.
