Terms of Hire

Terms and Conditions (applicable to all hires)

NYMD Jukebox Limited Registered Number: 4978211
England and Wales
Trading as

Company Address:
The Windmill
3a Water End

Director: Stephen Chatterton

The company hires various products such as Jukebox, or Jukebox with accessories (such as an extra speaker / lights) to clients for an agreed period of time at an agreed price. I will deliver the equipment to the place (or venue) of the hire, and I collect it at the end of the hire period or as arranged. This is the total scope of the service.

Equipment is provided in good faith, and devices hired from www.jukebox-hire.co.uk will be setup, checked and tested properly upon delivery, before been handed over to the client for the agreed hire period.

The products are well maintained between hires and serviced regularly. The technology is designed for commercial use; however, like any electronic device equipment cannot be guaranteed to be 100% fail-safe and may yield to a fault (or fault condition) outside of my control during the hire period. The risk of a fault condition occurring is extremely low. However, given the equipment is left unattended I may not be able to resolve a problem during the hire period.

Therefore, in the unlikely event of a failure of operation of any equipment hired from www.jukebox-hire.co.uk, howsoever caused, my responsibility shall be limited to a maximum of the agreed cost of the hire only, (not the transport cost).

Power Requirements in a Marquee:
It is the hirer’s responsibility to provide a safe electrical power supply for the marquee. A standard UK 230v / 13 Amp RCD protected power socket needs to be presented to within about a meter of the Jukebox location. The power supply into your marquee must be connected and live at the agreed delivery and collection time. I recommend you discuss all power related questions with your marquee supplier, your generator supplier or a qualified electrician.

Breakages, Loss or Damage:
Clients must respect the equipment and are responsible for all items hired during the hire period, and may be charged for any losses, breakages or damages to equipment caused during the hire period.

Deposit, Final Payment and Cancellation Terms:
Unless otherwise stated, all bookings are subject to the 30% deposit payment and are therefore only fully confirmed one the deposit payment has been received. The 70% final balance is due for payment 14 days before the hire date. I offer a good email and postal paperwork system to reassure clients.

In the event of cancellation the 30% deposit is Non-Refundable. However, in cases where there are more than four months to the hire date, then I would refund your deposit minus a £10.00 admin fee. Any monies that may have been paid over and above the 30% deposit will also be refunded in all cases.

Methods of Payment:
Internet Banking Funds Transfer from a UK bank account.
PayPal (any debit or credit card)
Advanced cheques.
